Senior Marketing & Data Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Marketing & Data Analyst you will combine marketing and demand‑generation data from multiple sources to deliver accurate, repeatable insights for project teams and senior leadership. You will ensure data quality, build queries and visual reports, and translate market trends into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex analytics and reporting projects, providing clear, repeatable business insights to stakeholders at all levels.
• Integrate and validate data from diverse functional areas, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, performance metrics and automated self‑service reports using Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of business problems and propose process‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define data requirements, ensure data availability, quality and transformation for analytics.
• Present findings through visual storytelling, delivering actionable recommendations to optimise marketing spend and event performance.
• Mentor junior analysts and act as the data analytics lead within the group.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, Economics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or financial analysis.
• Proven ability to work with large data sets, perform statistical analysis and translate results into business context.

Required skills

• Power BI, Tableau or Looker for data visualization.
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Advanced Excel for analysis.
• Python and/or R for statistical modeling (preferred).
• Experience with data‑analytics tools and services.
