Senior Manager, Social Impact & Sustainability

About the role

The Senior Manager, Social Impact & Sustainability will drive CAVA’s environmental and social impact agenda. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sourcing & Sustainability, the role partners with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and People & Culture to embed sustainability across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute CAVA’s sustainable packaging and circularity strategy, including packaging optimization and emissions reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing and culinary teams to integrate sustainable packaging principles and advance recyclability and waste reduction goals.
• Lead enterprise‑wide Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting and related initiatives.
• Design and manage food waste reduction and diversion programs aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Create methodologies to measure, manage and report greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental metrics, overseeing annual regulatory disclosures.
• Analyze environmental data to identify trends, resource‑efficiency opportunities and support company‑wide sustainability strategies.
• Promote renewable energy projects across all CAVA locations to meet climate objectives.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading sustainability or ESG programs in a fast‑moving consumer or food‑service environment.
• Strong track record of developing and implementing packaging, waste‑reduction and emissions‑management initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with supply chain, operations, marketing and senior leadership.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in environmental data analysis and regulatory reporting.
