Senior Manager, Site Procurement

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager of Site Procurement to lead strategic sourcing for its Surgical Franchise at the Sinking Springs location. You will be responsible for developing global sourcing strategies that drive cost reductions, ensure business continuity, and expand our supplier base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across resins, molded components, chemicals, electro‑mechanical parts, capital equipment and metals.
• Identify and present savings business cases, including alternative suppliers and insourcing options.
• Apply data analytics to spend data to uncover trends and new opportunities.
• Manage site budgeting, spend variance analysis and project coordination with the MST team.
• Prepare and deliver business cases to senior leadership to secure approval for sourcing projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 15 yrs, Associate + 11 yrs, M.S. + 4 yrs, PhD + 3 yrs).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong analytical abilities with Excel, SAP, Power BI, Alteryx and PowerPoint.
• Experience developing global sourcing strategies and managing regional/global RFPs.
• Negotiation of complex supply agreements and third‑party engagements.
• Scenario modeling, business case development, and total cost of ownership assessments.
• Direct‑materials knowledge (injection molding, devices, metals, chemicals).
