Senior Manager, Sales Learning & Development

About the role

HD Supply is hiring a Senior Manager, Sales Learning & Development for a hybrid role (Monday to Thursday in the office, Friday remote). The manager leads the research, design, development and delivery of learning curricula and job aids, and provides supervisory, instructional design and facilitation expertise to managers, internal learning teams and contractors. Candidates must live in New Braunfels, TX; Jacksonville, FL or Atlanta, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Create a learning vision and strategy with business leadership aligned to business priorities and goals
• Drive communication and marketing to build learning adoption and awareness
• Work with learning resources to set standards and processes for assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation
• Select learning solutions and delivery methods suited to stakeholders, systems and organizational maturity
• Conduct learning needs analyses, define objectives, strategies, scope, timing and resource requirements
• Analyze tasks and content with subject matter experts to define training content and deliverables
• Deliver and facilitate courses to diverse audiences using virtual instructor-led, instructor-led, self-paced and blended formats
• Advise non-learning professionals on training and lead learning and training governance, including measurement metrics
• Train, supervise and mentor managers, specialists and contractors

Required profile

• 8-10 years of experience delivering sales learning and facilitating meetings, using adult learning methods such as classroom, virtual, eLearning and the ADDIE process
• 5+ years leading a team of learning and development professionals
• 3+ years of selling experience
• Demonstrated success developing and delivering content for executives to individual contributors, covering leadership, business and professional skills
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience
• Must reside in New Braunfels, TX; Jacksonville, FL or Atlanta, GA
