Senior Manager, Programs – Startup Lab & Future Founders

About the role

The University of Miami seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Startup Lab x Future Founders program. This position provides strategic and operational leadership, ensuring efficient delivery of services to faculty, staff, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day operational management of assigned programs, maintaining compliance and high service standards.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and boost program effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Implement and manage task‑management and workflow systems for better coordination.
• Assist with program budgeting, track expenditures, and identify cost‑saving measures.
• Coordinate logistics for program events, multi‑site activities, and special projects.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to university policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in program operations, business operations, or project/program management.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and managing budgets.
• Experience using data analytics or reporting tools to inform decisions.
