Senior Manager, Patient Advocacy & Public Affairs (Remote)

About the role

The Senior Manager will support Coloplast’s U.S. Chronic Care organization by educating payors and policy makers through patient groups, professional societies, and industry associations. Reporting to the VP of U.S. Payors and Evidence, the role works closely with global government affairs and patient advocacy teams.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with federal and state stakeholders, including patient groups (e.g., United Spinal, United Ostomy Association) and professional societies (e.g., AUA, WOCN), to shape public opinion and support market access initiatives.
• Lead and measure public‑affairs campaigns in partnership with internal teams and external agencies, mobilizing advocacy groups to influence payors and providers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional alignment with Reimbursement, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Clinician Education to ensure public‑affairs activities support business objectives.
• Support US Market Access on managed‑care and state‑level initiatives, securing access, policy expansion, and price protection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, political science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience developing and executing patient‑advocacy or public‑affairs campaigns.
• Strong storytelling, writing, and strategic communications skills, with knowledge of new media.
• Proven ability to build strategic relationships with key stakeholder groups and manage complex projects.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Salary range $129,000 – $190,000 with potential bonuses and incentives.
