Senior Manager, Financial Innovation and Intelligence

About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Senior Manager, Financial Innovation and Intelligence (FI&I) for the Corporate Finance - Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A) department. The role defines and scales the FI&I capability, using data, automation, analytics and financial intelligence to improve forecast quality, accelerate insight generation and support enterprise decision-making. It leads a high-performing team and sets the operating rhythm, standards and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Finance Analytics Solutions Partners, and own the FI&I job family, including role expectations, career progression and hiring and succession planning.
• Establish analytical standards, documentation and ways of working, and champion diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Advance predictive models, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and enterprise financial models; support forecasting, trend analysis and core drivers such as billing days, fringe and Protiviti burden rates.
• Ensure analytics methodologies are consistent and well documented across regions and business units.
• Improve cross-functional processes, integrate real-time data into financial models and decision-making, and audit processes for best-in-class financial practices.
• Identify high-value automation opportunities, including automating manual reporting and analysis, and partner with FD&A, IT and Data Governance on trusted data.
• Prepare and present the quarterly enterprise forecast, annual budget, monthly reports, KPIs, variance analysis and functional performance; guide financial models for client profitability and strategic initiatives.
• Support external disclosures, earnings releases, investor scripts and management reporting, and provide analytical support to executive management during the quarterly earnings cycle.
• Manage financial due diligence for strategic initiatives and build relationships across the global Robert Half CFO organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field; an MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience scaling a finance analytics, BI or FP&A innovation capability, and developing career frameworks or analytics talent pipelines.
• Deep understanding of financial systems, data architecture and advanced financial analytics tools; hands-on experience deploying AI/ML or generative-AI solutions in finance workflows.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python or R, and ability to guide technical work.
• Experience in a large, global, matrixed enterprise; staffing or professional-services background a plus.
• Certifications such as CPA, CFA or CMA highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial management software and data visualization tools such as DOMO, Adaptive Insights and Power BI.
• Strong executive presence, communication and collaboration skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to data quality and review discipline.

• Annual salary range of $116,000 to $180,000, negotiable, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
