Senior Manager – Energy Incentives & Tax Credits

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Specialized Tax Services practice focused on energy incentives and tax credits. You will provide strategic tax advice, help clients navigate complex regulations, and optimise their tax positions across accounting methods, fixed‑assets and R&D credits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic tax advisory projects centred on energy incentives and credits.
• Interpret and apply complex tax regulations to improve client tax outcomes.
• Design and implement tax strategies for specialised areas such as accounting methods and R&D tax credits.
• Collaborate with clients to validate results and incorporate feedback.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through intricate tax scenarios while maintaining composure.
• Craft clear, impactful communications that convey a holistic tax story.
• Apply systems‑thinking to uncover underlying tax problems and opportunities.
• Conduct open coaching conversations to elevate team performance.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 6 years of relevant tax experience.
• Professional credential such as CPA, Bar membership, or comparable tax/finance qualification.
