Senior Manager, Contracts & Pricing Strategy

About the role

The Senior Manager, Contracts & Pricing Strategy leads the development, execution, governance and optimisation of pharmaceutical pricing and contracting strategies across Managed Care, Commercial, Government and Distribution channels. This senior leader partners with Market Access, Finance, Legal, Commercial Operations, Revenue Management and Payer Account teams to align contracts and pricing with financial targets, compliance and patient‑access goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing and contracting strategies for commercial, managed‑care, government and distribution channels.
• Provide analytical insights and recommendations on pricing, contract structures and business opportunities.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity and regulatory developments to inform strategic planning.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, approval, execution, amendments, renewals and implementation.
• Support contracting activities for product launches, annual pricing updates and commercial initiatives.
• Serve as liaison among Commercial, Market Access, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Government Pricing and Operations to ensure aligned execution.
• Advise on contractual and pricing implications of business decisions while maintaining compliance.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical pricing, market access and contract management.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to influence senior leadership.
• Excellent understanding of managed‑care, government and distribution pricing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and manage complex projects.
• Track record of delivering pricing excellence and operational efficiency.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary range $150,000 – $185,000 per year.
• Long‑Term Incentive Plan equal to 20% of base salary.
• Incentive compensation target of 20% subject to plan requirements.
