Senior Maintenance Technician – Property Management

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Technician ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports a 305‑unit garden‑style community during lease‑up and ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose the source of defects, conduct repairs, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and local building codes.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and relevant building codes.
• Reliable attendance for a Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm schedule with on‑call duties.
