Senior Maintenance Technician – One Paseo Living

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join the One Paseo Living team in San Diego. You will be responsible for ensuring the building’s physical systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders.
• Perform the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, and track usage for re‑ordering.
• Document all work orders and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Assist with grounds, common area, and amenity upkeep as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with property management software such as Happyco, Yardi, and Site Audit Pro.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and residents.
• Ability to coordinate CapEx projects, obtain bids, and oversee vendor contracts.
