Senior Maintenance Technician – Alta Cypress Springs

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support the Alta Cypress Springs community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment by tracking usage, returning unused items and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities through trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials and tools responsibly.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and preventative‑maintenance schedules.
• Experience performing make‑ready inspections and coordinating vendor services.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and re‑order procedures.
• Commitment to adhering to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
• Capability to complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
