Senior Logistics Analyst, Real Estate

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Senior Logistics Analyst within its Real Estate Strategy and Supply Chain Infrastructure teams. The analyst uses analytical methods and tools to understand, predict, improve and control logistics operations, manages data, analyzes performance, identifies problems and develops recommendations for logistics management. The role involves mentoring Logistics Analysts and works with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly preparation of real estate strategy documents and guide the overall real estate approval process for direct-to-consumer and store-supported networks
• Produce weekly reports on the real estate development pipeline, from lease execution to substantial completion and go-live
• Coordinate daily high-visibility supply chain infrastructure projects such as design/build project installs, MHE initiatives and parking and facility decommissioning
• Provide visibility and support across internal teams (Real Estate, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Finance, HR, Network Strategy, PMO) and external partners
• Create and analyze reports, run ad-hoc queries and maintain reports (25%)
• Develop business tools and solutions and identify process improvement opportunities (25%)
• Recommend to senior management and mentor Logistics Analysts (20%)
• Manage data, cost estimates, forecasts and cost models, and perform data mining, modeling, cost-benefit analysis and process mapping (20%)
• Manage vendor and business partner relationships (10%)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job
• 3 years of work experience preferred
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, able to support and lead multiple projects, with excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple levels and functions

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Visio) preferred
• Advanced skills in Tableau and Access preferred
• Project management skills, finance/CBA/capital budget experience preferred
