About the role

This senior position leads strategic communications for elite pharmaceutical and biotech clients, shaping scientific narratives that support global business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, turning complex briefs into evidence‑based programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peer‑level strategic counsel to senior pharma leaders, delivering rigorous, evidence‑based communication solutions.
• Oversee creation of scientific platforms, corporate narratives, and high‑stakes executive presentations.
• Identify organic growth opportunities within existing portfolios and lead high‑impact proposals for new business.
• Mentor and direct multidisciplinary account teams, ensuring high‑quality delivery and professional development.
• Manage project profitability through accurate forecasting, resource allocation, and budget oversight.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare PR, medical communications, or scientific strategy.
• Deep knowledge of the pharma/biotech landscape, including M&A activity, clinical trial design, and regulatory environment.
• Proven consultative mindset with ability to challenge client thinking and provide ad‑hoc counsel in high‑pressure situations.
• Leadership experience managing internal teams and external vendor relationships.
• Comfort discussing mechanisms of action, epidemiology, and emerging trends such as AI in drug discovery, CRISPR, or genomics.
