Senior Life Sciences Solutions Engineer (Commercialization)

About the role

Deloitte is hiring a Senior Life Sciences Solutions Engineer (Commercialization) for its AI & Engineering practice, within the Life Sciences Commercial Operations area. The role builds AI-powered solutions for pharma clients' commercial operations, combining curiosity about the life sciences industry with hands-on skills in analytics, AI/ML and data. It covers CRM (Veeva, Salesforce), IQVIA, claims and specialty pharma data, customer MDM structures, data governance, dynamic targeting, segmentation, call planning, brand planning, business intelligence and forecasting. Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of AI & Data engagements for Life Sciences / Pharma clients, focusing on commercial AI, analytics and data transformation.
• Build and deliver commercial use cases for account-based selling, HCP/HCO affiliations, dynamic targeting, segmentation, call planning, brand planning, sales and marketing optimization, next best action and forecasting.
• Acquire, profile and analyze CRM (Veeva, Salesforce), IQVIA, claims and specialty pharma data, and understand how Customer MDM structures feed commercial analytics.
• Develop, test and document analytical and AI/ML models that turn commercial problems into scalable solutions.
• Build dashboards and BI reporting that turn insights into decisions for field and brand teams.
• Apply data governance and data quality practices to commercial data used in analytics and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with strategy, product, data, engineering and client stakeholders to shape solution approaches and delivery plans.
• Prepare client-ready deliverables, workshop materials and presentations, support pursuits and proposals, and mentor junior practitioners.

Required profile

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience, including 4+ years in Life Sciences commercial operations and 3+ years in analytics, AI/ML or data solutions (consulting, pharma or commercial analytics).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Life Sciences commercial data (CRM, IQVIA, claims, specialty pharma) and Customer MDM structures.
• 2+ years of analytics and/or AI/ML experience applied to commercial use cases such as segmentation, targeting, call planning, next best action or forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average; limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Required skills

• SQL and Python (or R) for data analysis and modeling.
• Preferred: AWS, Azure or GCP; GenAI and advanced data architectures (Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Products); BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau; data governance and regulatory compliance in life sciences data privacy and security.
