Senior Landscape Architect / Project Manager

About the role

Bespoke Careers is representing an established landscape architecture practice in West Los Angeles that is looking for an experienced Senior Landscape Architect / Project Manager. This is a senior, client-facing position in a collaborative design studio, managing projects from initial concept through construction. The role combines technical expertise with project management and communication skills, across a varied portfolio, with significant autonomy and close collaboration with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple landscape architecture projects from concept design through construction administration and completion.
• Act as key point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, deliverables and technical documentation.
• Manage and mentor junior designers, coordinating workloads and project resources.
• Provide design direction while maintaining high technical standards.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Contribute to fee proposals, project presentations and business development.
• Work across residential, commercial, institutional and municipal projects.

Required profile

• Ideally 10+ years of professional landscape architecture experience.
• California Licensed Landscape Architect.
• Proven experience leading projects independently and managing budgets, consultants and junior staff.
• Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and Land F/X
• Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam
• Knowledge of California planting palettes, hardscape materials and construction techniques

What we offer

• Salary of $100,000-$130,000 depending on experience.
• Six days per week in the Westside LA office preferred.
