Senior Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Senior Inventory Specialist will lead the plant’s inventory control function, driving improvements in inventory accuracy and supporting financial and operational compliance. You will work closely with plant management, finance, and cross‑functional teams to align physical stock with SAP S/4HANA records.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed root‑cause investigations of inventory discrepancies, auditing SAP transaction histories and partnering with Materials Management, Production, Receiving and Shipping to resolve systemic issues.
• Conduct advanced cycle counts for high‑value, critical, and complex items, ensuring count data is entered accurately into SAP and serving as the final verifier for count integrity.
• Identify and implement process improvements, mentor junior cycle counters, and act as the on‑site specialist for inventory control troubleshooting.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of progressive experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to perform root‑cause analysis and deliver data‑driven recommendations.
• High sense of responsibility, strong analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of SAP (MM/IM/WM modules) or a comparable ERP system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to speak and understand Spanish.
