Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Fruit of the Loom is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role strengthens enterprise risk management and internal controls by developing data-driven audit methods, performing risk-based audits and delivering actionable insights that improve control effectiveness, process discipline and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support risk-based audits covering technology, financial, operational and compliance areas, building consistent tools, models and testing routines
• Evaluate IT general controls and partner with IT and security stakeholders to turn findings into risk-prioritized recommendations
• Complete SOX control documentation reviews and testing, escalate deficiencies and work with control owners on remediation
• Turn audit findings into practical improvements with business and functional leaders, and monitor agreed management actions
• Deliver audits, investigations and special projects on time, using standardized methods and templates
• Support parent company and other external audit requests with organized, accurate information

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, accounting systems, accounting, finance, risk management or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, audit, financial controls, risk management, technology or accounting systems
• CISA, CIA, CPA, CFE or similar certification preferred; active progress toward certification acceptable
• Ability to travel, including internationally, about 1-3 weeks per year

• Analytical skills: evaluating large data sets, identifying trends or exceptions and turning findings into audit conclusions
• Verbal and written communication, able to explain audit observations to business partners
• Project management and time management, handling multiple audits or projects
