Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

BD is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit team at the corporate headquarters in Franklin Lakes, NJ. This hybrid role requires four days on‑site each week and offers exposure to the company’s global operations and strategic processes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control processes across the organization.
• Ensure protection of assets, reliability of financial information, and compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Support management in optimizing controls and resource efficiency.
• Review operations and programs to verify alignment with objectives and planned execution.
• Lead and participate in audit engagements, reporting findings to the Regional Audit Manager and Internal Audit Leadership Team.

Required profile

• Strong communication, planning, and administrative abilities.
• Demonstrated audit investigative skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Willingness to lead audit teams and collaborate with peers.
• Basic project‑management experience.
• Senior‑level experience in internal audit or related finance functions.
