Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Museum of Ice Cream is looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to act as the primary strategic partner for Operations leadership. You will drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and workforce performance across our immersive brand.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with Operations leaders to identify people risks, talent gaps, staffing needs, and manager capability issues.
• Translate business goals into people plans that support retention, engagement, performance, labor, guest experience, and growth.
• Support workforce planning across sites, including role mix, staffing models, labor needs, leadership coverage, and opening readiness.
• Develop tools, templates, workflows, and operating rhythms to improve consistency across locations.
• Provide oversight and guidance on employee‑relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, performance concerns, and terminations.
• Coach managers through difficult conversations, accountability issues, and performance concerns.
• Identify ER trends and recommend proactive solutions.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders during complex or change‑driven situations.
• Strong understanding of workforce planning, compensation frameworks, incentive models, and performance systems.
• Experience managing direct reports and providing coaching/mentoring.
