Senior Guidance Engineer

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing automated aviation technology. As a Senior Guidance Engineer you will join the Guidance, Navigation, and Control team to design, implement, and test guidance systems that enable un‑crewed aircraft to operate safely in the National Airspace System.

Key responsibilities

• Define guidance system capabilities and requirements together with operations and pilot teams.
• Design and integrate guidance features with flight control systems and pilot displays.
• Implement flight guidance algorithms in simulation and flight software.
• Reduce, analyze, and evaluate simulation, lab, and flight test data.
• Validate system performance through simulation, hardware‑in‑loop, and flight test cases.

Required profile

• MS in aerospace engineering, robotics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience developing guidance or motion‑planning algorithms for real‑time vehicle systems.
• Professional C/C++ and Python development experience.
• Ability to communicate system behavior to end users.
