Senior Graphic Designer – Freelance (Onsite)

About the role

Rapt is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer on a freelance basis to join its interdisciplinary studio teams. The role is onsite at one of Rapt’s U.S. locations (San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York) and involves collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, and strategists to create visual solutions that support client missions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visual concepts and deliverables across digital, print, environmental graphics, and signage/wayfinding projects.
• Maintain a high level of detail while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Participate in studio workshops, pin‑ups, and model reviews to refine ideas in person.
• Integrate feedback from cross‑disciplinary teams and ensure final outputs meet brand and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 5‑8+ years of professional graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, conceptual thinking, and visual communication.
• Ability to think creatively, collaborate across disciplines, and adapt to varied project scopes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
