Senior Full-Stack Developer (.NET/C#) - Private Wealth Technology
nb · New York
Job description
About the role
The Private Wealth Technology team supports Neuberger's Private Wealth business, focusing on exceptional advisor and client experiences. It is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer (.NET/C#) to design, build and operate scalable, high-performance applications and integrations across multiple wealth-management data domains. The role suits someone with strong engineering fundamentals, deep SQL/data skills and the ability to work autonomously, driving delivery from requirements through production release and ongoing support.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain internal applications and integrations with third-party platforms across the Microsoft technology stack.
- Partner with Business and Operations stakeholders to gather requirements, document them and produce technical designs and specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to team standards through code reviews, patterns and documentation.
- Deliver end-to-end through the SDLC: design, development, testing coordination, release and deployment, and post-release validation.
- Diagnose and resolve escalated production issues, and improve reliability through monitoring, performance tuning and root-cause remediation.
- Contribute to platform modernization initiatives such as upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
- Manage multiple workstreams (new features, integrations, maintenance) by prioritizing and communicating trade-offs.
- Mentor junior developers through pairing, reviews and technical guidance.
Required profile
- 6+ years of professional software development experience and a BS/MS in Computer Science (or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in financial services; familiarity with Private Wealth/wealth management data domains strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) responsibly.
- Right to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Required skills
- Strong backend expertise in C#/.NET, including production services.
- Advanced SQL and data modeling, with ETL/ELT concepts; Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake.
- Full-stack web development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery where applicable).
- REST and/or SOAP integrations with JSON/XML.
- Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred: Kubernetes/OpenShift/Azure, DDD, event-driven or service-oriented architectures, Excel macros and VBA.
What we offer
- Salary range of $130,000-$180,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
- Benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits.
- Hybrid arrangement with a minimum of two days per week in the New York office.
