Senior Frontend Product Engineer

About the role

Sequence is building an AI‑powered revenue platform and needs a senior engineer who can own end‑to‑end product delivery, from concept through production. You’ll work on flexible, natural‑language‑driven workflows and human‑in‑the‑loop interfaces that make complex financial processes intuitive for modern finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑driven workflow components that translate natural‑language rules into reliable, debuggable automation.
• Build human‑in‑the‑loop UI elements such as dynamic approval chains, escalation flows, and dashboards that surface critical context.
• Shape core frontend architecture for a lean team of 20+ engineers, influencing both design and implementation decisions.

Required profile

• Proven track record shipping high‑quality web applications in product‑focused environments.
• Strong attention to visual detail and ability to faithfully translate UX designs into code.
• Customer‑centric mindset – eager to understand the problem behind the feature.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, iterating quickly, and communicating clearly with cross‑functional teams.
