Senior Forward Engineer – Diagnostic Suite

About the role

The Senior Forward Deployment Engineer for the Diagnostic Suite (DxS) helps customers adopt DeepHealth’s integrated imaging solution. Reporting to the Service Engineering Lead, this individual contributor designs end‑to‑end technical solutions across PACS, viewer, reporting, integrations and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end technical solution design for assigned customers, combining core PACS, viewer, reporting, integrations and AI.
• Lead technical discovery, produce solution designs and configuration plans, and guide implementation teams.
• Coach implementation teams, maintain reference architectures and deployment playbooks, and serve as technical lead during go‑lives, hyper‑care and escalations.
• Convert recurring customer needs into standardized workflows and product requirements.
• Define AI adoption strategy, support AI‑enabled workflow rollouts, and coordinate with product and delivery managers.
• Escalate engineering issues, triage defects, track status with engineering, and support site reliability monitoring and incident response.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in healthcare IT, medical imaging or clinical systems.
• 5+ years in a customer‑facing technical role across PACS, viewer, reporting, RIS.
• Strong communication skills with radiologists, IT leaders and executives.

Required skills

• DICOM and HL7 v2 knowledge.
• Hands‑on configuration of PACS and diagnostic viewers.
• Integration experience with radiology reporting systems such as PowerScribe.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end radiology workflow (RIS, worklists, reading, reporting, results distribution).
• Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), networking, storage and SSO/authentication.
• AI adoption and clinical AI deployment experience (preferred).
• Regulated medical device environment knowledge (FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) and ITIL practices (preferred).
