Senior Flight Software Verification Engineer

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing automation for aviation. As a Senior Flight Software Verification Engineer you will verify embedded flight software that interacts with sensors, control systems and other aircraft subsystems, ensuring robust fault handling and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the DO‑178C verification strategy and its implementation across the flight software stack.
• Create and maintain tooling that supports a compliant verification environment.
• Develop, author, and oversee unit and Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop (HIL) test development.
• Perform tool qualification in accordance with DO‑178C/DO‑330 requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with C or C++ development.
• Experience in safety‑critical verification to achieve DO‑178C objectives or comparable standards.
• Background in requirements‑based testing in unit test and HIL environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience.
