Senior Financial Specialist – QuickBooks & Full‑Cycle Finance

About the role

GSD Healthcare Solutions is seeking a senior finance professional to act as the financial backbone of a fast‑growing, 65‑person healthcare services company. This remote, high‑ownership position combines day‑to‑day accounting precision with strategic reporting for executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute all daily financial operations, including transaction processing, payroll updates, billing adjustments, and month‑end close.
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and ensure data integrity across all entries.
• Manage full‑cycle accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, customer collections, and multi‑currency transactions.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, reimbursements, and the general ledger.
• Lead monthly and quarterly closing procedures, balance‑sheet preparation, P&L management, and financial reporting.
• Support audits, enforce internal controls, and oversee procurement and vendor compliance.
• Build executive‑level dashboards, conduct revenue and profitability analysis, and develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
• Communicate financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders and partner with the General Manager on business planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in full‑cycle finance within a fast‑growing environment.
• Ability to work autonomously, translate complex data into clear narratives, and influence senior leadership.
