Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

Join APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, as a Senior Finance Business Partner. You will act as a strategic finance partner, providing insights and analysis to support key business decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Lead quarterly rolling forecasting processes, including financial and operational KPIs.
• Monitor cost control, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop investment proposals and business cases.
• Drive process improvements, automation and efficiencies in financial reporting.
• Deliver data‑driven presentations to the CFO, Managing Director and senior leadership.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to enhance financial performance and streamline processes.
• Support projects such as staffing analysis, contract evaluations and negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a mid‑level finance management role, preferably in port operations or logistics.
• Strong financial acumen with advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI or Python (advantageous).
• Solid knowledge of IFRS (mandatory).
• Familiarity with financial systems such as IFS or Hyperion (plus).
