Senior Field Application Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Field Application Engineer at Bosch, you will be the primary technical liaison for customers, helping them integrate Bosch sensor, IC, and power semiconductor products into their designs. You will work closely with internal product teams and external engineering groups to ensure successful design‑in and series production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support and solutions based on Bosch training material, application notes, and datasheets.
• Collaborate with Product Area Sensors, ICs, and Power Semiconductors teams to obtain and relay product information.
• Assist customers in correctly designing with Bosch components and document design‑in activities.
• Gather customer requirements and communicate them to Product Management and engineering teams.
• Support customer quality issues during the development phase and coordinate PPAP activities.
• Lead technical presentations and pre‑selling activities for Bosch components.
• Coordinate sample and development‑kit logistics, including testing and packaging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in design or application engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain technical relationships with customers.
