Senior Epidemiologist, Immunology, RWE (FSP Sponsor Dedicated)

About the role

iQVIA's Sponsor-Dedicated FSP team is looking for a Senior Epidemiologist in Immunology, Real-World Evidence (RWE). You will join the Inflammation, Real World Evidence team and provide scientific and strategic epidemiology support for clinical development and drug safety. The role works closely with one sponsor, using secondary real-world data to inform regulatory, safety and clinical development decisions. It is a fully remote position based in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct observational research studies
• Assess evidence gaps and evaluate safety profiles
• Develop evidence strategies to support regulatory interactions and clinical development programs
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Biostatistics and Real-World Evidence teams

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (PhD, ScD or equivalent) in Epidemiology
• 5 to 7 years of epidemiology experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
• Demonstrated experience supporting clinical development and/or drug safety
• Proven ability to design, execute and interpret epidemiologic studies

Required skills

• Strong expertise in observational research methods
• Use of commercial healthcare databases such as HealthVerity, Pharmetrics Plus, TriNetX or similar real-world data assets
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical development and safety evidence, including Phase II and Phase III programs
• Preferred: experience in inflammation and immunology, regulatory submissions or interactions with FDA, EMA or other authorities

• Base pay range of $109,200 to $273,000 per year, depending on qualifications, location and schedule
