Clinical Program Manager

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Senior Project Leader / Clinical Program Manager to join its sponsor-dedicated business unit. The role acts as the accountable point between IQVIA and the customer, owning study and program timelines and planning while maintaining financial control. It manages cross-functional teams and works closely with the Clinical Lead, Project Vendor Manager, Project Management Analyst and Site Activation Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global cross-functional project team delivery, accountable for milestones and quality of the contracted scope
• Serve as the primary contact with the customer for progress and governance
• Develop study management plans and ensure consistent use of study tools, training materials and compliance with standard processes
• Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Manage study team assignments, accountability and resource requirements
• Ensure the study budget is managed proactively, including scope changes and accurate financial systems

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years' clinical project management experience in industry, CRO or business, in clinical drug development and/or clinical operations; clinical R&D experience preferred
• Prior experience leading cross-functional global teams
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and influence teams without direct authority
• Professional Project Management certification preferred
• Experience planning and managing governance bodies preferred

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project (required)
• Developed analytic skills

The potential base pay range, annualized, is $93,100 to $285,500, depending on qualifications, location and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses and other benefits may also apply.
