Senior Environmental Sustainability Analyst

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a Senior Environmental Sustainability Analyst in Altamonte Springs, Florida, on a full-time day shift. The role provides analytical support to the sustainability team, managing the annual greenhouse gas inventory calculations, operating the environmental system and preparing reports and dashboards. It also reviews data accuracy, ensures data quality and works independently on projects that contribute to the organization's sustainability strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the annual greenhouse gas environmental inventory calculations and operate the environmental system
• Develop and implement strategies for calculating emissions, waste and water totals
• Collect and analyze data from various sources, identify anomalies and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Summarize data in clear, visually appealing presentations and prepare detailed reports and dashboards
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end users
• Monitor data quality, identify data relationships and dependencies, and ensure timely completion of analyses
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather information and ensure compliance with environmental standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• Field of study in data analytics, sustainability, carbon accounting or a related major
• 5+ years of experience in sustainability, carbon accounting data analytics or a related field
• Experience managing very large data sets of various types
• Experience conducting emissions assessments and developing carbon inventories is preferred
