Senior Environmental Health & Safety Engineer

About the role

3M is seeking a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Engineer to lead EHS programs with a focus on environmental planning and compliance. You will collaborate with global teams, drive performance improvement projects, and serve as the site environmental expert.

Key responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs and ensure compliance with all applicable environmental standards and 3M expectations.
• Interpret federal, state and local environmental regulations and implement them at the site.
• Prepare, review and submit permits and regulatory reports.
• Lead environmental performance improvement projects and assess new processes, equipment and chemicals.
• Interact with internal auditors, regulatory agencies and communicate project status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, environmental, health or safety discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in an environmental, health or safety role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management abilities and experience implementing comprehensive EHS management systems.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
