Global EHS Engineer

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Global EHS Engineer to collect, analyse, and monitor worldwide EHS trends, support GHG emissions reporting, and drive continuous improvement across its sites.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with site EHS and Facilities Managers to analyse Scope 1 and 2 emissions and publish monthly global EHS incident reports.
• Monitor and report on global GHG emissions requirements, goals and implementation plans with the Corporate EHS Senior Manager.
• Analyse EHS metrics such as near‑misses, first aids, OSHA Recordable and Reportable incidents, and benchmark TRIR trends.
• Track ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audit findings, ensure timely closure of corrective actions, and conduct onsite EHS validation audits.
• Support corporate EHS initiatives and assist sites with product stewardship platforms and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering/Management or related field.
• 3‑5 years of EHS experience with hands‑on knowledge of GHG Scope 1 and 2 data sources and emission factors.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation; ISO auditor certification preferred.
• Ability to travel 10‑20% as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of GHG emission calculations, TRIR metrics and data integrity assessment.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards and audit processes.
• Experience with product stewardship platforms such as Assent, BOMCheck, RBA.
• Understanding of Global RoHS, REACH and related regulations.
