Senior Engineering Manager – Data Engineering

About the role

Omada Health is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead its Data Engineering organization. In this role you will shape the strategy and execution of a enterprise‑wide data platform that powers analytics, reporting, experimentation, and AI‑driven insights across product, clinical, commercial, finance, and operations functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a strategic roadmap for the Data Engineering platform.
• Lead delivery of scalable, reliable, and governed data products that enable business intelligence and machine‑learning use cases.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing engineering team through hiring, coaching, and career development.
• Partner with Data Architects, Product Managers, Analytics, Data Science, Governance, and Software Engineering teams to align priorities and accelerate data‑driven decision making.
• Establish engineering excellence by improving data quality, reliability, observability, security, and platform performance.
• Define and monitor operational metrics to continuously improve platform health, cost efficiency, and developer productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data engineering teams in a fast‑moving, product‑focused environment.
• Strong organizational leadership combined with deep technical understanding of data pipelines and platforms.
• Track record of delivering trusted, reusable production datasets for multiple business domains.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable platform capabilities.
