Senior Engineering Consultant

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Senior Engineering Consultant to act as the technical representative for clients, delivering high‑quality real‑estate due‑diligence services. The role combines client‑facing technical sales support, field staff coordination, and rigorous quality control of engineering reports.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical point of contact for regional clients, guiding project protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASTM E2018 and HUD regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise field staff on property condition assessments, reviewing progress, resolving issues, and providing technical direction.
• Interpret and edit field reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on‑time delivery to clients.
• Manage client portfolios, conduct meetings, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new technical staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least five years of relevant experience (or eight years of experience without a degree).
• Valid driver’s license; Registered Architect or Professional Engineer preferred.
• Experience with Property Condition Assessment, Equity and Debt report preparation, and familiarity with seismic surveys.
