Senior Director, Shared Services

About the role

The Senior Director, Shared Services will lead the transformation of a global shared services organization that supports international logistics operations. This role focuses on cost optimization, AI‑enabled automation and building a scalable, customer‑centric service model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑year cost‑optimization roadmaps across multiple shared services locations.
• Identify and implement workforce, vendor, process and automation opportunities to improve cost‑to‑serve and enterprise value.
• Partner with Finance to establish ROI tracking, budgeting visibility and financial accountability for transformation initiatives.
• Analyze financial variances, determine root causes and drive corrective actions to meet operating and financial targets.
• Design and continuously improve multi‑channel service delivery models, capacity strategies and work allocation frameworks.
• Monitor and enhance performance of high‑demand service areas such as call centers and peak support functions.
• Establish KPI discipline focused on cost savings, SLA adherence, productivity, throughput and speed‑to‑resolution.
• Translate enterprise technology strategy into practical AI, automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior operations leader with experience building scalable service organizations.
• Track record of delivering measurable financial results and cost‑saving programs.
• Strong partnership skills with Finance, Operations and senior leadership.
• Ability to translate enterprise priorities into actionable operational improvements.
