Senior Director, E‑commerce & Customer Enablement

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to shape and execute the strategy for our customer‑facing digital commerce and enablement platforms. The Sr. Director will own the e‑commerce storefronts, marketing sites, content management systems, customer account centre and self‑service portals, driving growth, security and AI‑enabled experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement long‑term strategic plans for all digital commerce and customer enablement systems.
• Oversee budgeting, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of e‑commerce, CMS and self‑service platforms.
• Consolidate leadership of E‑Commerce and Customer Enablement functions, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end digital experiences.
• Drive commercial growth, security governance and AI integration across platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture and product teams to adopt cloud‑native, headless and multi‑tenant solutions.

Required profile

• 15+ years of software development experience with senior digital leadership of customer‑facing platforms at scale.
• 7+ years leading large, multi‑disciplinary engineering teams through change.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science (advanced degree preferred).
• Proven track record of using technical metrics to influence business decisions.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Headless / decoupled storefront architectures and multi‑tenant e‑commerce platforms.
• Hybrid on‑premises/cloud environments and DevSecOps practices.
• Agile development methodologies.
• Database design, optimization and management.
• AI tools and platforms for engineering acceleration and customer‑facing experiences.
