Senior Consulting Principal AWS Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consulting Principal AWS Cloud Engineer to lead technical strategy and architecture for enterprise‑scale cloud solutions. The role blends hands‑on engineering, architectural design, and strategic guidance to drive best‑in‑class multi‑cloud and hybrid‑cloud implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, fault‑tolerant, and cost‑optimized AWS environments.
• Define enterprise‑wide AWS architectural patterns, frameworks, and governance using Control Tower, Organizations, and IAM.
• Architect hybrid‑cloud and multi‑cloud solutions that integrate on‑premises and SaaS platforms.
• Design Kubernetes‑based microservices (EKS, Helm, Istio) and ensure secure workload configurations.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives with Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK, automating provisioning and scaling.
• Implement zero‑trust security, encryption, and automated compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, GDPR) using Security Hub, GuardDuty, WAF, KMS, and IAM policies.
• Drive performance optimization and self‑healing architectures across multiple AWS regions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level individual contributor with deep AWS expertise and a track record of enterprise impact.
• Strong background in Kubernetes, DevOps, IaC, and security architecture.
• Proven ability to mentor teams, influence technical decisions, and communicate strategy to stakeholders.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, and GDPR.
