Senior DevOps Engineer – Enterprise Shared Services

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s enterprise shared‑service team. The role focuses on delivering advanced DevOps tooling, automation, and AI‑driven solutions that support development, operations, and business users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and related DevOps infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, operations and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Automate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor, tune and optimize the performance of DevOps tools and platforms.
• Develop and support AI‑based solutions that boost developer productivity.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Contribute to enterprise‑wide DevOps standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure security and compliance of all DevOps processes.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for critical incident response.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship.
• Associate degree with 7+ years of DevOps experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems independently.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Automation scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Monitoring and performance tuning tools.
• AI/ML integration for developer tooling.
• Security and compliance best practices.
