Senior Data Scientist – Loyalty Platform

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its Loyalty group, where you will help build scalable, high‑performance data platforms that power personalized card‑linked offers for millions of users. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment that values innovation, continuous learning, and delivering production‑ready solutions at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deploy machine‑learning models that address business use cases.
• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines in distributed environments.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Apply statistical techniques and run A/B tests to solve complex problems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across systems.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into technical implementations.
• Monitor deployed models and continuously improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Multiple years of professional experience in data science and/or data engineering.
• Strong foundation in both predictive modeling and data pipeline development.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders using visualizations and reports.
