Senior Data Engineer (Teradata/ETL) - Secret Clearance

About the role

Solerity, a provider of IT, engineering services, program management and consulting for the U.S. Federal Government and Intelligence Community, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / ETL Developer for the USTRANSCOM Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. The role designs and maintains ETL pipelines, data integration workflows and database solutions for mission-critical logistics systems, collaborating with developers and architects on scalable data services. The position is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise ETL processes and data integration pipelines for large-scale data environments.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects for data processing and analytics.
• Work with Teradata and Oracle databases for storage, transformation and reporting.
• Maintain ETL workflows with Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools.
• Write Python and Bash automation scripts for data ingestion, transformation and operational support.
• Support database integration, object creation, query optimization and troubleshooting.
• Take part in data modeling, schema design and database performance tuning.
• Support code migration, data validation and performance testing across development, test and production.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information systems, data science, cybersecurity or a related field (ABET-accredited or CAE-designated), or a Bachelor's degree plus one of the listed security certifications.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in enterprise IT, data engineering, software or database engineering, or data integration; a Master's degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience may substitute.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Preferred: experience with USTRANSCOM IT systems, Teradata, Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL, and large-scale enterprise data environments.
