Senior Corporate Paralegal

About the role

HCSC is hiring a Senior Corporate Paralegal for its Corporate Legal Services team. The role supports multi-state licensing, regulatory requirements and filings, and corporate governance functions such as minute maintenance, meeting records and resolutions, while working alongside corporate attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. It is a flex position with 3 days in the Chicago office and 2 days working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare regulatory filings and draft governance documents
• Conduct legal research and draft complex documents, correspondence and agreements
• Assist with project management
• Prepare and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders
• Maintain corporate records, minutes and resolutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, or
• Paralegal certification and 4 years' experience, or
• 6 years of experience performing paralegal functions
• Knowledge of the judicial system, court procedures, HCSC policies and operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders

Required skills

• PC proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Detail and deadline orientation
• Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred: experience with corporate governance, multi-state regulatory filings, licensing documentation, legal operations in a regulated industry, and executive-level materials.

• Base pay range of $63,300 to $114,300, varying with skills, experience and location
