Senior Controller – Finance Leadership

About the role

HavocAI is seeking a senior‑level Controller to lead its finance organization. This executive will build and scale a best‑in‑class accounting function that supports a high‑growth, complex business with rigorous reporting, audit, compliance, and internal‑control requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Own and continuously improve the close process to ensure timely, accurate and scalable reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, consolidation and overall financial statement integrity.
• Develop high‑quality reporting packages for executive leadership, the Board and Audit Committee.
• Establish reporting standards, review mechanisms and operating rhythms that support executive decision‑making.
• Serve as senior technical accounting leader, managing policies and conclusions for revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), inventory, stock‑based compensation, business combinations and other complex areas.
• Ensure audit readiness, strengthen internal controls and partner cross‑functionally on strategic growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a public‑company or similarly rigorous reporting environment.
• Track record of scaling accounting organizations and implementing robust financial infrastructure.
• Strong operational discipline with the ability to lead through rapid growth.
• Comfortable advising executive leadership and Board members.
