Senior Consultant

About the role

Avasant is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead business process transformation and technology engagements for large enterprises across the United States. You will work directly with senior‑level clients to design and execute optimization strategies that drive cost reduction, operational efficiency, and strategic sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Project‑manage end‑to‑end delivery of transformation and technology work streams.
• Develop financial business cases, risk models, and strategic sourcing recommendations.
• Create RFP statements of work, financials, service levels, and contractual terms.
• Architect, execute, and support transition planning and post‑implementation activities.
• Manage large budgets, ensuring timely, high‑quality, and cost‑effective delivery.
• Maintain and grow client relationships with senior executives.
• Contribute to intellectual capital, proposal development, and new‑growth service areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a top‑rated institution (MBA preferred but not required).
• 3‑5 years of consulting, management consulting, or operations management experience, preferably in business process optimization.
• Proven ability to manage senior‑level client relationships and large‑scale projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel across North America and occasionally to other regions.
