Senior Construction Cost Estimator (Hybrid, Alpharetta, GA)

About the role

RIB U.S. COST is seeking a Senior Construction Cost Estimator to join its production estimating team in Alpharetta, Georgia. The position is hybrid, requiring two days onsite each week, and supports projects for aviation, federal agencies, DoD, and state/local governments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed cost estimates for large, complex projects across all design stages.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost management and alignment with project goals.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Utilize industry‑standard estimating tools and software for pricing and resource allocation.
• Support value engineering, progress reviews, and project optimization initiatives.
• Maintain professionalism and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adhere to policies for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in construction cost estimating with a consultancy or contractor.
• Expertise across all discipline scopes of work.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Experience using estimating software and other computer‑based cost tools.
