Senior Clinical Trial Manager (II)

About the role

IQVIA Biotech, a full-service CRO serving biotech sponsors, is looking for a Senior Clinical Trial Manager (CTM II) to lead large, multi-regional clinical trials from startup through closeout. The role drives clinical strategy, leads international study teams and works with sponsors and stakeholders to deliver research programs on time, within scope and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the clinical delivery of large global clinical trials from startup through closeout.
• Drive patient recruitment and retention strategies to meet enrollment goals.
• Identify, assess and mitigate clinical and operational risks.
• Oversee clinical quality and ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements and study protocols.
• Partner with project leadership to manage timelines, budgets and resource planning.
• Build, mentor and guide clinical teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and cultures.
• Support proposal development, bid defenses and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare or related field.
• Sr CTM: 7+ years of clinical research experience, including monitoring and clinical trial leadership.
• CTM II: 5+ years of clinical research experience, including monitoring and clinical trial leadership.
• Experience leading complex, multi-country studies and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to influence, mentor and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of clinical operations, ICH-GCP guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of project management principles and clinical trial financial oversight.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $93,100 to $232,800, depending on qualifications, location and schedule. Additional compensation may include incentive plans, bonuses and benefits.
