Senior Clinical Scientist – Robotics Innovation

About the role
Help shape the future of robotic‑assisted interventions by bringing clinical insights, physician perspectives and scientific evidence together. You will join the Breakthrough Innovation Team (BRITE) in Philips’ Innovation & Design department, reporting to the Director of Clinical Innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and expand relationships with key opinion leader physicians, organizing visits, phantom/animal/usability studies and clinical site tours.
- Coordinate conference participation, schedule physician slots, deliver demonstrations and gather feedback.
- Act as the clinical expert for multidisciplinary teams, translating workflow questions and providing training.
- Lead clinical collaborations, design and execute usability, animal and clinical studies with KOLs and research institutions.
- Partner with R&D, product management, systems engineering, regulatory affairs and quality to embed clinical requirements into product design.
- Monitor emerging clinical practices and technologies to align product development with market needs.
- Maintain the Cambridge cath lab, ensure supplies are stocked and support device validation activities.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience (or 5+ with a Master’s) in clinical research, medical affairs, nursing, radiologic technology, biomedical sciences or related fields.
- Background in neurovascular, image‑guided therapy, interventional or robotic medical technologies is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with key opinion leader physicians, conducting clinical collaborations and providing training.

- Base salary range $149,000‑$237,000 plus potential annual incentive bonus and long‑term incentives.
