Senior Calibration Engineer / Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Calibration Engineer who will also serve as Project Manager within our Service House. The role supports Bosch Powertrain Solutions in delivering calibration datasets for vehicle functions across electric, passenger and commercial vehicle platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage calibration projects, including dataset creation, assessment, quality checks and release to customers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams for software and calibration work packages.
• Analyse project requirements, estimate costs and effort, and support sales in contract preparation and negotiation.
• Ensure calibration development meets customer and legislative requirements while staying on‑time, on‑spec and on‑budget.
• Act as the primary interface with OEM customers on calibration topics and promote Bosch calibration services.
• Organise customer meetings, provide technical updates and presentations.
• Coordinate engine testing activities related to customer programs.
• Plan project costs, control budgets and support series and field calibration topics.
• Train customers and internal stakeholders on calibration subjects and mentor colleagues and interns.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in vehicle calibration project management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle function calibration such as start‑system, emission controls, speed governors, drivability, cruise control, PTO and environmental adaptations.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for direct customer interaction.
• Experience supporting sales teams on technical aspects of contracts.
