Quality Assistant Project Manager

About the role

The Quality Assistant Project Manager oversees the end-to-end quality lifecycle for automotive part development, ensuring Tier 1 delivery excellence for OEM new model launches. The role leads the strategic alignment between customers and suppliers to ensure mass production stability and supply chain integrity, acting as the primary lead for quality project milestones, managing PPAP lifecycles and driving Kaizen initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimize quality control workstreams for part production in line with new car projects and production preparation plans.
• Lead the preparation and submission of quality documentation and technical reports required for OEM milestones.
• Direct and execute supplier quality audits to ensure adherence to global quality standards and project requirements.
• Serve as quality lead for individual local production projects, meeting quality gates from development through mass production.
• Manage key customer and supplier relationships and facilitate strategic meetings for technical alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in quality systems or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Control or Process Engineering.

Required skills

• Experience with APQP activities and IATF certification preferred.
• Knowledge of 8D, PDCA, 5-whys and 4Ms problem-solving tools preferred.
